MIx Tape NYE 2010

I first discovered Simain Mobile Disco in a Parisian club that was built underneath a bridge along the River Seine. Pretty sick, I know. But from the moment the first knob was turned, my love was set afire. Not sure if it's the geeky look they pull off so well, or their musical stylings of their indie dance vibe with a London twist, but these two get it, and do it well.

If I could be anyone in the world, it would be Maja Iversson. She is one bad ass bitch from Sweden who can make a room full of both male and female hormones dance like they have their whole lives to dance. Last time I saw this retro-influenced Rock band live, this wonderfully intriguing "I don't give a shit what you think because this is me" chick lit up and smoked a complete cigarette while sweating drops of perspiration from her forehead, filled the room full of powerful energy, and while continuously bolting notes from her soul. I want to dance to the sounds of this foxy lady
